Nowadays, it’s no wonder that more people are turning to water filters to protect their health. Here are something about the faucet mount water filters that we’d like to share with you today.
What are the advantages of faucet filters?
Convenience– With a faucet mount filter, you’ve got on demand filtration right at your kitchen faucet. There’s no need to constantly refill containers, and you won’t run out of filtered water.
Low Price– These are among the least expensive water filters. Most models retail for under $50. The replacement filters are inexpensive, too.
Simple Installation– No tools are required to install a faucet filter. Just take off the faucet aerator and screw the filter on in its place.
Easy Maintenance– The only maintenance you’ll have to do is to replace the filter cartridge every few months. And this is a simple task.
How do faucet water filters work?
A faucet mount filter screws onto the end of your faucet in place of the aerator. It has a metal or plastic housing that holds a filter cartridge.
You just turn on the water, and it flows through the filter and out an opening in the filter.
There’s always some type of diverter so you can switch between filtered and unfiltered water. You wouldn’t want to waste filtered water on, say, washing dishes.
Different brands may use different filtration materials and methods, but most have a couple of things in common.
The basic setup has a layer to block dirt and debris and then an activated carbon block that traps contaminants by adsorption as the water flows through. Some models have additional layers to reduce a greater number of contaminants.
While for Pursafet faucet mount water filter, we use the UNIKTIKA’s activated carbon fiber, which is developed by melting-spinning technology, provides an extremely high adsorption speed compared with powdered or granular activated carbon.
With the Mitsubishi Rayon Ultra-filtration Membrane, it can effectively removes most particles, pyrogens, micro-organisms and colloids above their rated size, providing reliable bacteria and protozoan cyst reduction for safer and cleaner drinking water without incorporating chemicals into the media or adding chemicals to the filtered water.
Sprayer head design, directly attaches to standard faucets, easily switches back and forth from tap water to filtered drinking water.Save 40% more space-efficient than most units, best for using in kitchen, bathroom and taking to travel.
A delicious cup of coffee makes a great way to start your day. An amazing cup of coffee can be a celebration to the senses, especially if brewed using high quality, roasted, single origin coffee beans. Ask any coffee enthusiast if the type of water in their coffee causes them concern, and the majority of them will agree – Yes, of course it matters to them.
Coffee is mostly made up around 98% of water, obviously the water you use to brew your coffee is going to have a serious impact on the final coffee taste.
Using filtered water is particularly important for coffee making, as the hard water quickly calcifies inside the machine.
Coffee machines with water filters integrated into the system will eliminate sodium, organic solids and bacteria from your water, reducing the elements that negatively affect aroma and taste, with the advantage of preventing quite so much build-up of scale on your brewing equipment, improves the overall drinking quality of the water.
Pursafet auto coffee machine water filters use with the coconut shell activated carbon and non-sodium ion exchange resin as filtering media, help to reduce most of the chlorine, taste, odor and heavy metals in the water, while offering the improved great tasting water and coffee.

Water purification is the process of removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants, suspended solids, and gases from water. The goal is to produce water fit for specific purposes.Water purification may reduce the concentration of particulate matter including suspended particles, parasites, bacteria, algae, viruses, and fungi as well as reduce the concentration of a range of dissolved and particulate matter.
The standards for drinking water quality are typically set by governments or by international standards. These standards usually include minimum and maximum concentrations of contaminants, depending on the intended use of the water.
Pursafet water filter cartridges are designed to meet the requirement of NSF and FDA-compliant standard. Our carbon block filters are an ideal choice for a wide range of residential, food service, commercial and industrial application.
The first and most important reason to drink filtered water is that it is simply better for you than unfiltered water.Since clean city water can still contain plenty of chemicals such as fluoride and chlorine. The water comes from quite far away and is transported through miles and miles of pipes, it has a lot of chances to pick up impurities.
Refrigerator Water Filter do an excellent job of removing all kinds of impurities from water, including heavy metals and contaminants from pesticides to ensure safer drinking water. With quality charcoal or osmosis filtration right in your refrigerator door, you can eliminate bad tastes and odors for fresh-tasting water and ice.
Refrigerator water filters are a very cost-effective ways of getting the pure,fresh-tasting water you want. When pricing replacement water filters for your fridge, be sure to consider the volume of clean water you’re going to get for your money. It will almost be less than the cost of buying the same amount of bottled water.
Speaking of bottled water, buying bottled water is quite wasteful. Even if you recycle the plastic, think about the energy that has been used to make and recycle those bottles. Refrigerator water filters are more eco-friendly because you can fill your own reusable cup or bottle.
With filtered water from your refrigerator, you always have a supply of clean, cold water and ice whenever you want it.It’s much convenient to use than the filtered pitcher such as a Brita, which needs refilling after every drink. All you have to do is remember to watch out for the little red indicator light that will tell you your refrigerator water filter needs to be replaced.
And if you have any inquiries or questions on the refrigerator water filters, welcome to contact Pursafet, our professional representatives will always be glad to help you.
Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, is a form of carbon processed to have small, low-volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions.
Due to its high degree of micro-porosity, one gram of activated carbon has a surface area in excess of 3,000 m2 (32,000 sq ft) as determined by gas adsorption. An activation level sufficient for useful application may be obtained solely from high surface area. Further chemical treatment often enhances adsorption properties.
In the process of filtering water, activated carbon is often used to remove contaminants and impurities. Carbon is probably the most absorbent material known to human, and it is uniquely efficient because of thousands of tiny pores that can absorb.Carbon filters made from powdered carbon blocks are more efficient than granular activated carbon because the blocks are denser, slowing down the passage of water through them.
The larger surface area created by the block carbon, and the more time the water is in contact with the carbon, the more contaminants are removed.Activate carbon water filters are rated by the size of contaminants they remove. These range from around 50 microns down to .5 microns. The smaller the measurement the more effective the filter.
Different substances are used to make the carbon for these filters, such as bituminous, wood and coconut shell.
Of these, coconut shell is the most expensive, but has been found to also be the most effective. It has the ability to remove even the smallest particles of contaminant. Also, coconut shell-based carbons tend to be harder, more resistant to abrasion, and lower in ash than similar grades of coal-based carbons.
The major advantage with the coconut shell activated carbon is that it is an outstanding material for applications requiring taste, odor and dissolved organic chemical removal from water with suspended particle present.
In addition, its balanced pore structure gives a more efficient adsorption range and it imparts a high “polish” to the filtered water.
Pursafet carbon blocks filters raw materials are from Jacobi high-grade coconut shell based carbon, delivers an unmatched purity and micro-pore volume than than other carbon source.
Pursafet carbon block filters are manufactured entirely from FDA-compliant and NSF certified, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of residential, food service, commercial and industrial applications.
Dissolved minerals can have a significant impact on a coffee’s flavor profile, as they affect the way the water extracts coffee from grounds.
In addition, some minerals interact with components in coffee.
Hydrogen carbonate, for example, reacts with coffee acids and, in certain quantities can lead to a “flat”, unbalanced flavor.
Moreover, substances introduced during water treatment can cause unpalatable chlorine, corky or musty tastes. Some entrained materials can even influence how coffee smells – altering its aroma profile.
Plus, organic contaminants in water can often lend an off-flavor to coffee. In particular, water with these types of solutes can produce coffee with a distinctive earthy or musty taste (geosmin).
Pursafet offers water filters works according to the professional up-flow principle, always filtering the precise amount of water required for each job. As well as limescale, it filters out heavy metals and substances like chlorine that could affect smell and taste. The result: pure water for your favorite specialty coffees and a longer life for your investment.
